Low Back Rehabilitation

Low back rehabilitation is a world full of mis-information and conflicting advise.

Serious About Strength might be the answer you're looking for.

For the past 3 years I have studied under both Joel Proskewitz ( and Dr. Stuart McGill (, two of the worlds leading authorities on back pain and spinal biomechanics, and as one of only a handful of people in the world to be McGill Level 4 qualified I helped literally hundreds of people move towards becoming pain free.

The McGill Method

The McGill method for low back rehabilitation is an evidence based approach that Dr. McGill has honed over the 30 years of research and hands on application as the Head of Spinal Biomechanics at the University of Waterloo in Canada.

The McGill method is a proven system of assessment to individually assess movement patterns of an injured patient, where we aim to identify and remove an individuals pain triggers and put them on the road to becoming pain free.

One mans therapy is another mans poison.

There are many exercises that "strengthen the core" and increase "spinal mobility" however any exercise can be great for one person and detrimental for another.

At Serious About Strength we take a very individualised approach in both the assessment of the spine and the prescription of any progressive exercises.

If you would like to discuss further about how I might be to help you with your back pain then please get in touch.
